The Air Show 2009

It was pouring rain.
It's been raining all week.
The good news is that we drove right in and had the best parking spot ever.
The even better news is that it pretty much stopped raining when we got there.
It was a bit chilly, but pretty much stayed dry most of the day.
We walked around a bit and looked at some of the planes.
Then we went back to our van and ate lunch, got our chairs out and watched the show.
The kids watched for the most part, but got a little bored and started playing towards the end.
We decided to pack it up and leave about 10 minutes early to beat the rush.
We were in the car for all of about 45 seconds when it started POURING, and I mean Pouring!
We all thought we made a good choice!
Doug has some pictures of the kids in the airplanes that he took with his cell phone.
He took the boys to the bathroom and never came back.
I guess he figured they were going to do boy things.
I'll post those as soon as I figure out how to get them off his phone.
