Farm Time Part 4

We stopped at the American Gothic House and took the very touristy picture complete with grumpy faces.  I should have zoomed in more on us and less on the house.  Oh well, next time.

How do we compare???  Not so great.....

Must be Nadya's turn to feed Suzy Q- So much fun!

Grandpa thinks he is so funny because he tried to squirt me with the hose!  I gently sternly reminded him about my camera and then took this shot.

Tractor Time

And of course we ate corn for supper almost every night.

And nothing beats a walk down a dirt road to check on the cows or for something to do.  I heart this pic.

  1. ohhh i heart that last picture too!

p.s i've tried to do that strike out with no success (gently -- no sternly) how do you cross out the word to show in your post?....let me know just when you get a chance.

    thanks.

    really cute post.

  2. Shannon- Go into your dashboard and on the top right hand side there is a box that says Make Blogger in Draft my default dashboard. Check this box- I did and all the sudden when I went to post I had so many more options. (which I love!) There is a little box right next to the bold and Italic box that has an ABC with a line thru it. That is your strike thru box. Also, once you do it I also found that I could upload more than one picture at a time... super cool to be able to pick ten or so pics and then walk away while they are uploading. It took me a little bit to get use to the new format, but I must say it is much better. I only wonder how long that box has been sitting there! Let me know if that works for you!

  4. ohhh...got it. i couldn't see it at first, but it was because i had to scroll down to the bottom and click on something blogger default in order for the top right box to even appear. once i clicked the bottom thing then the box did appear. it did change things, like you i think it will be a bit different, but in the end i'll like it? thanks.

i don't need it now, but in the new format i didn't see a box to click on to upload a video?...but humm it's probably just the same thing as uploading the image, but now it's one in the same.

anyway....thanks so much for the tip!

  6. shannon- when you go to upload your pics- even though it is still uploading the new format will continue to let you select. I love this as I hate sitting by the computer the entire time I am blogging. Also, since I know you are a fan of bigger pics if you click on edit HTML code and find the picture you want to enlarge, change the code from s400 to s800 and it enlarges your pics too. Is this how you've been doing yours? I've loved your bigger pics!

  7. oh good that multiple uploading of pictures will be great! Thank You!

Yes, I just recently got interested in making my pictures bigger. So I expanded my blog, and I do do it the way you described. At first I was told a harder way, but then a follow up tip came to do it the way you are describing too. I LOVED getting that tip too.

    Thanks again!

we'll be in touch....love blogland for these reasons :)
