Daddy had a Birthday!
Okay, so I am late.... But, I have good reasons. I had to get caught up with our vacation pics and then I got sick. Really sick. Swine flu sick. No fun! But, Daddy had a birthday and we need to officially address it. I wasn't feeling good, but we still celebrated. He picked one of his favorite dinners (pot roast) and then we had cake and ice cream. As a gift, I finally had the kids' portraits (from 2 years ago that we had drawn while in Russia) matted and now all we need to do is find frames. He was excited. We had already decided not to do too much since we just had a vacation, but this has been on our list for two years! Yikes, how time flies! Here are a few pictures. I'll post pics of the matted pictures when they are up on the wall. They turned out great!
Oh, yeah.. and we got him a tree picture holder so that all the cute picture of his kids could actually have a "home" on his desk at work. Only problem, his picture holder is still sitting on the kitchen counter. Silly Daddy!

I hope the rest of your family was spared the flu! I guess as a teacher it was bound to happen - at least you got it over with, although now all the vaccines are out, so I suppose that would have been preferable to your natural immunity. As a health care worker, I got vaccinated last week - but I still need to take my kids in. It is going around at the schools here and we don't want it!
