First, Fifth, and Sixth.........

While Carter started school on the 18th, the girls and Alex 

had to wait until the 23rd for their first day of school.

Still can't believe we have kids in sixth, fifth, first and kindergarten!

Time flies!

Here is a small recap of the first day.

Alex was a few minutes late to school.

Whoops.

(I might add that Dad was in charge of taking him as I had a lousy meeting.)
He came home all smiles and enjoyed his new school.

When I asked him if he was going to like it there, he responded, "Definitely!"

Nadya came home all smiles, but was  a bit bummed about

not having any of her "good" friends in her class.

Hallie came home and complained that her head hurt.

She then proceeded to tell us her first day was lame.

That they talked about the one rule, "respect" ALL day long.

I couldn't help but snicker.

I hate the first few days of school too.

So, I told her to give it another day.

Second day was much better!

I am enjoying the quietness and the structure that school brings.

But, the homework and lunches are enough to make me want to gag!
