Christmas!!!!!

As usual I woke up early and took a picture after Santa left his Presents.
I forgot to take a picture of the wrapped presents under the tree,
but they're there.
Santa doesn't wrap our presents that he leaves for us.
I think he is in too big of a  hurry, but I may ask him to wrap next year.
Some eleven year old girl whose name starts with N
woke up at 2:00AM and discovered
Santa left her an IPOD touch.
Apparently she was so excited and she needed to tell someone
so she called Grandma Tammy to share the great news.
She then woke us up and told us.
So, I think wrapped Santa gifts are in order next year, don't you?
We made her go back to bed and she woke up again around 7:30.
  So much better!

So obviously Nadya got an IPOD Touch and was ecstatic to say the least!
She was also pretty excited about her Russian Candy too.
I am so glad Santa remembers to bring some from Russia.
She is wearing her Christmas Eve PJ'S and she loved them!

Alex was up next and he discovered all the fun stuff Santa left.
He got a paper Jam guitar and a couple of fun science kits.
I think his favorite one is the snap junior set.  It's awesome!
It's like a Lego approach to electricity and wiring and everything snaps together.
The boys have already made of a few of the projects and they are
simple enough for them to do on their own.
Santa also left an erector set for both boys and a hot wheel raceway and loop.

Believe it or not, but at this point Carter was still asleep
and I had to wake him up. He got out of bed to discover his gifts.
Santa brought him his battle bay blades and his pillow pet!
Plus he discovered plenty of silly bands in his stocking!
Happy, happy boy!!

The boys played with their toys all morning and Nadya was anxiously awaiting the use of her IPod.  We needed to download updates for it, (really, it's brand new??) and Doug did it on the old computer and it took FOREVER!
Carter Played Club Penguin because Santa brought
him a new plush toy with a code in his stocking.
And the boys loved the hot wheel loop.
Hallie arrived at about One and soon was in IPOD heaven!
This picture pretty much sums up her excitement.
The smile never left her face.
Luckily for her, I downloaded the updates on my new laptop (love it!) and
she was up and running in no time.
Nadya on the other hand was still learning to be patient.
We opened the presents under the tree.
There were just a couple from us to the kids and each of them
bought for each other this year.
The kids also bought for us.
The girls chipped in on a personalized hat for Doug.
Afterwards the girls were pretty much glued to their IPods and  still are.
They can now text each other (for FREE)
and anyone else with a phone or IPOD touch.
They can facetime (like skype) each other and will be
able to stay in touch when Hallie is at her moms.
They love it!
We've already had a lesson or two on texting etiquette.
I guess I better up my texting plan because my cell phone is not free!
So pretty much this is what they looked like the rest of the day....

We Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!
