Gymnastics

Nadya is just about finished with competition season.

She has had a great year.

Ironically enough, her best meet so far was still her first.

She has had higher individual scores, but hasn't topped her allround score yet.

She has two more meets and then State in June.

Her last meet was in Logan, and it's in the Spectrum so

 I brought my camera  along in an attempt to get a few pictures.

This arena offers the best photo op as the faciltiy is well lit. 

 In gymnastics, flash photography is not allowed and even with semi-good light,

 it is difficult to get decent photos considering the girls are flipping and flying through the air.

This particular meet ended up being rather small (not too many girls).  

 It was Easter Weekend and extremely early in the morning (we left the house at 6:00),

so I think many opted out. 

It ended up being to Nadya's advantage that the meet was smaller.

She medaled on every event.
 (I should add that she scored well too,  as did everyone else in her age group).

She was all smiles!

 It's incredibly fun to watch her compete!

She has excellent form and is so pretty to watch.

It was from a different meet, but she just finished vaulting and saw her score.

Let's just say she was excited with her performance!
