State Meet

Nadya had her State Meet on June 17th.

She did fantastic!!!!!

Her best meet yet this year.

She placed 5th on beam and floor, and 9th on bars and 10th overall for her age division.

We were very proud of her and she was very pleased with herself too!

I wish I would have snapped a picture of her expression after seeing her beam score.

She has been struggling on beam and had been working hard to improve.

She was so incredibly surprised at her score and her coach told her after that it

 was her best beam routine ever!

It was a great reminder that hard work pays off!!!!!!

Nadya went back later that night to watch her friends compete in the level six competition.
She had a blast.

She Loves, Loves, Loves, Gymnastics!!!!

I took Nadya to get feathers (three of them) in her hair a few days after state.
She made a deal with me if she earned a 35 or higher then I'd get her three feathers.

Well Deserved!!!!!!!
