Along with fort building the boys have been creating crazy "experiments" as they would call them. I would call them frozen concoctions that are driving me crazy. I never quite know what to expect when I open the freezer. (or what has spilled in my freezer!)
Here are two examples.
Exhibit A
This would be some sort of frozen apple creation that I found on our side walk. Lovely. I wonder if it will attract any fun critters?
Exhibit B
The boys froze a huge cup of ice and removed the ice prior to it completely being frozen solid. The entire outside was frozen and the inside was hollow. They had fun with it and then smashed it outside.
And Just To Document This Stage Too:
Alex loves to get the paper and find the funnies. He likes Superman and Garfield best. He also discovered wikipedia the other day and was in heaven. He learned all about poison ivy, x-rays and Batman (Via his search on poison ivy) Apparently there is a character on batman called Poison Ivy. I never knew. But, Alex was thrilled to discover this through the magic of Wikipedia. He spent two days searching wikipedia and googling in an effort to find how poison ivy turned into poison ivy and was never very happy with my response. Seriously, where do kids come up with some of their questions?
The joys of parenting two adventurous, curious, lovable,
but messy boys!
I know, I know.... I'll miss this stage.
I just keep telling myself that!
