Picture Worthy Moments
Last week at the swimming pool Nadya bribed Carter
with 50 cents if he'd go down the water slide.
It worked.
He loved it!
He went down and then did it again, again, and again!
Yay! Both boys go down water slides!
I think we are ready for Cowabunga Bay!

The girls had a competition and dressed up the boys again.
This time, in boy clothes.
They came out and strutted their stuff.
Carter had his Jammies on underneath his clothes so
part of his performance was getting ready for bed
complete with yawning and a teddy bear.
The Future CEO of America???
We were at the park this week and Carter charmed a woman
we were talking to. She was Larry Miller's sister and she adored Carter.
She said she was pretty certain he was the next CEO of America.
He is definitely politician material, I can attest to that.
Pretty cute too!

Alex participated in the dress up contest too.
He was sporting a faux hawk and a tattoo.
He is also wearing his new (FREE) glasses courtesy of Target's
awesome back to school special.
Totally free!
So, he now has a pair with translational lenses and one with out!
Perfect!
Perfect!
Carter attempted riding his bike with out training wheels this week.
He still doesn't quite have the idea of balancing down yet.
It doesn't help that we live on a small hill.
I suggested he practice balancing on his scooter.
Alex could balance for a long time on his scooter before
learning to ride his bike and he just took right off.

We will keep trying!
Nadya returned to gymnastics this month after
taking the month of July off.
She's pretty much been tortured!
Here she is with her class.
They all had to stay in the splits on the beam
They all had to stay in the splits on the beam
until everyone was all the way down and no one fell off.
I felt bad for them,
but they got it!
Poor Nadya, she lost a bit of flexibility during her month off

and she was one of the last ones to get down.
