Small Group Boating

Our small group (not so small bible study group from church)  

spent the day up at East Canyon Reservoir.

We went up Saturday Night to ensure that we would get a good spot

on the beach considering we were such a large, small group.  

(About 30 in all.)

The kids were so excited to be at the lake. 
And, the boys no longer hang-out on the swim deck.

In fact, they were the first ones in!!!!!!

Alex was in such a hurry, he jumped in with his glasses on!

Luckily, they stayed on!

We ate dinner, swam and then headed to bed.  

The kids were quite excited and took awhile to fall asleep.

I love sleeping on the boat.

The sound of the water, slapping against the sides of the boat,

rocking you back and forth.

Eventually the kids fell asleep.

Can you find four sleeping kids?????

Two of them are completely hidden, but they are sound asleep.

The kids didn't waste anytime in the morning. 
They got in the water before the sun even peeked its head over the mountain!

Pretty soon, we had lots of company!

The kids played on the beach, buried themselves in the mud, 

and played in the water,

while Doug gave boat rides  and tube rides all day long.

It was a great time!

So great, in fact we are going again next weekend.

(With much smaller numbers!)
