Seven

ONE TO SEVEN !!
In the blink of an eye!

We got the Toys R Us ad a few weeks ago and Alex
created his birthday list from it. This was a first for him.
So what do seven year olds want?
Zibitz, a pocket copter, moon hops,
and  super scribble nauts (a DSI game)
I researched all of these toys and had Alex do the same.
Alex orignally wanted a different copter,
but changed to a pocket copter after his research.
Apparently the fifty dollar remote control
helicopter that he orignally wanted was junk.
It was great to have Alex read it for himself though.
I also found out that the moon hops were junk too.
Alex woke up early on his seventh birthday eager to open his presents.
Traditionally, we leave the presents on the coffee table all wrapped.
It's almost like Christmas twice a year for the kids.
We let him tear into his gifts.
Alex got his pocket copter (which is going back even after our research)
and his DSi game, Super Scribble Nauts, which is a really fun game!
He and Carter both enjoy playing it!

He also got a few gifts that were not on his list.
His teacher told me about a new fun game called Creationary.
It's a new fun game for lego fans!  It's like pictionary but with a lego twist.

And he has been dying to read the last Diary of a Wimpy Kid,
so he got it for his birthday  and
finished that day and has since read it again.
(I also discoverd Alex can read cursive with this book.)

Alex loves to draw and we got him a drawing book
which he has enjoyed immensely.

The girls gave Alex second hand gifts from their room and
Hallie made Alex a sign for his room out of an eractor set.

Alex requested Barbequed Ribs and Homemade fries for dinner.
He also requested chocolate and vanilla cake with colorful frosting.
I made a three layer cake with both vanilla and chocolate layers and
used left over skittles from Halloween to make a rainbow so it would be colorful.

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Misty and Uncle Aaron came over for Ice Cream and Cake.
Grandma and Grandpa got Alex a remote control car/robot transformer and
Misty and Aaron got Alex Zibitz.  (They are little remote control robots that are a lot of fun!)

We Sang Happy Birthday and used trick candles.
It was Hilarious.
Misty was recording and she turned  off the camera too soon,
but after it was all said and done Alex sat back in his
chair and sighed. He was so worn out!!!!!

Time for Reinforcement!!!!!
