This and That

My friend and I took the kids to Gardner Village
where the kids went on a scavenger hunt of the many different witches.
Carter is not pictured because he had school.
The girls and Alex had the day off.
Our favorite Witch-
Witchy Poo

Don't feel too bad for Carter-
He was having a blast at school with his Fall Harvest Party.
I spent the morning with him.

While we were in San Diego the kids picked up coloring sheets
from Trader Joes.  They were having a coloring contest.
We never made it back to enter, but I think Carter had a good chance of winning, don't you?
(Keep in mind that he is only five years old)
I thought his entry  was very creative and he did such a
great job staying in the lines.

Alex is quite the artist too.
This was hanging in the hallway during parent teacher conferences.
He did a bang up job!

BIG changes for the girls.
We moved them to a new school.
Life was too crazy with four kids at three different schools,
so we decided to move the girls to Alex's school.
Here they are on their first day.
Don't let the smiles fool you,
they were so nervous!
They came home all chipper and LOVED their new school.
I LOVE only having two drop offs in the morning
and two pick ups in the afternoon!
Woot, Woot!
They both have fantastic teachers and have already made new friends.
Hallie was happy to see an old friend at her new school too.

Both girls entered the reflections contest this year.
They used my camera and I showed them a few things in lightroom and
they enjoyed editing their photos.  Cute Hallie loved it and wanted to know
how much money my camera cost.  (In her dreams, right?)
I told her she is welcome to use her camera and my editing software anytime.
Here are their entries.
The theme this year is, "Together We Can"

Hallie's Entry
Nadya's Entry

And, last but not least......
Fall has officially arrived.
