Eight

My sweet little guy isn't so little anymore.

Alex turned Eight!

He celebrated his Birthday at Nickel Mania, his choice.

He loves arcades and video games so it was perfect!

A good time was had by all.

For school Alex took treats.  He chose ding dongs.

His teacher gave him a birthday bag complete with birthday glasses.

And the class sang Happy Birthday.

They've been adding on to the song for several years. 

(Because it's always a 1/2 grade split, the tradition always carries on)

It's really quite cute!

Because Alex's birthday fell on a Monday (my day off), I treated him to a birthday lunch.

He picked Subway and requested a footlong Italian.

He ate the entire thing!!!!!!

We had a family birthday party for Alex too.

Alex requested Cheesecake with car decorations instead of traditional birthday cake.

And of course there were presents!

Still can't believe my toady boy is eight!
Eight is Great Though!
