Our Year in Review
(You can click on the green links if you want  to see more)
January started off amazing with a trip to Maui for me.  I went with my sister, her husband and  her mother in law. We had an amazing time.  In February Nadya turned twelve and officially made level five "team" in gymnastics.  She competed very well this season and continues to be an excellent student in school. In March Grandma and Grandpa Johnson visited and Doug even snuck in a trip to San Francisco with them.  In April Carter turned six!  In May the boys and I (along with our friend, Kris) headed to Las Vegas for a fun get away! Alex also participated in his second Music Fest and we spent Memorial Day in Torrey. In June we celebrated two graduations.  Hallie graduated 6th grade and Carter graduated Kindergarten.   We also celebrated Hallie's 12th birthday. (Yes, that means two preteen girls for us!) Nadya competed at State and had her best meet of the season! In July and August we traveled to South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.  The girls loved Mall of America and we had a wonderful time on the farm, as always.  August also means the beginning of school.  Hallie entered the scary world of Junior High and Carter and Alex are both together in a first/second split.  I was a little nervous about it at first, but its worked out great!  Nadya is enjoying her last year of Elementary School as a sixth grader.  After finally getting our boat fixed we managed to do a little boating in September. After two trips, both girls learned to ski and Carter became quite the dare devil on the tube. October wrapped up Fall Soccer for Carter and we were able to sneak in a few fall hikes before the weather turned for the worse. In November Alex turned eight and Doug and Nadya headed back to Iowa for Thanksgiving.  (He came home with out any pictures to share).  In December Carter was the cutest Nutcracker Prince you've ever seen in his schools performance.  Nadya has been working very hard trying to earn level six "team" in gymnastics.  She needs three good scores in her reviews and after two reviews she is just one score away.

We have been blessed with a fun- filled
year full of cherished memories and good times.

We look forward to Christmas.  The kids have their advent calendars and are counting down the days.  We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Much love to you all.
