Carter is such a big helper!

We cut a whole in the wall so that Nadya could have access
to her room with out going thru the bathroom.

We took out the old Stone Mantle and replaced it with a
gas fireplace with a blower to help heat the basement.

Put sheet rock up instead of the ugly, dark, wood paneling and painted the walls yellow.

Moved this wall back a foot.

Here is a picture of the fireplace with the
stone hearth that we took out.

While we have done a fair amount of work on the basement, we would not be nearly as far with out the help of my parents and brother in law. They have put a TON of work into our basement. Updated pics after the carpet which we will order tomorrow!
