Let's Play Ball!

Carter just finished up his second year of T-ball.

What a difference a year makes.

He played hard ball this time

instead of playing hard in the dirt as he did last year.

I think he enjoyed chasing the balls best.

He was always eager to play

and looked forward to the snowcone at the end of each game.

Carter is excited to play again this fall.

I hope they go with a different color for their shirt.

White. Honestly? What were they thinking?

I can't tell you how many times he wore

a wet shirt because washing it slipped my mind.

Although, it did keep him nice and cool!

Playing Outfield

So um, Catch the ball or play in the dirt??
Play in the dirt!
Carter does try and catch the ball too,
but this was a long game!

Here is Alex and his friend Audran in ready position.
We were trying to teach them to shout,
Hey Batter Batter Batter Hey!
But, the best we could do was get them in Ready Position.

Alex is sitting on second base.
Running is hard work.
Time for a break!

Cutest thing.... He runs and hold his hat up at the same time.

Alex just ended his first season of T-ball. He played with his two best friends from school, Audran and Ryan. They were pretty cute. It was so fun to see them all turn into little players. They started the season using a T and ended the season hitting real pitches. I think he enjoyed T-ball more than soccer.

Yes, he is kissing his trophy. He even slept with it that night..........
