Maui

Maui was amazing......
Plain and simple.......  Simply Amazing!
I would normally go into more detail, but Misty is waiting on this post.... so here it is in pictures!

We went Snorkeling twice.   I won't include pics because I already did in a previous post. I will say that I loved snorkeling and wish we had gone more! 


I loved that everywhere we ate, we ate on a patio outside or had a  window view of the ocean.

Whales were EVERYWHERE! They winter in Hawaii for breeding

 and we saw too many to count! Every time you looked out to

the ocean, you'd see a whale if not many.  It was crazy!  We

 saw whales while snorkeling, whales on our whale watching cruise,

whales while eating, and many from our patio.  I loved it!

The closest we got was probably twenty or so feet on our

whale watching cruise.

We biked 23 miles down Haleakala Volcano. 

 The views were breathe taking!!!! 

The clouds rolled in and we rode right through them. So amazing! 

We went to the Old Lahaina Luau.  I highly recommend it!  Great food, great drinks and fun entertainment!

The drive to Hana was amazing!  A long and curvy road with cliffs, jungle scenery, waterfalls, the ocean......  The road continually curves and you can only drive about 15 miles per hour.  My Favorite----the rainbow trees.

While in Hana we visited Black Sand Beach.

And Red Sand Beach was complete with a naked sunbather.

We had to hike down a small cliff to get to red sand beach. 

The Scenery was Amazing!  Simply Beautiful.  It was so green because of the recent flooding, but it was sunny the entire time we were there except for about one hour.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.
