I'm Still Here In The Bathtub!

My friend, Shannon introduced us to Oliver Jeffers in her post here.  The boys really enjoyed his books but their favorite currently is I'm Still Here in The Bathtub by Alan Katz.  Alex loves to keep this book in the car and he reads them as we are driving.  Carter is a very good listener and finds them quite funny too! It is so cute to listen to the boys laugh and giggle as they find something funny, (like a smooch that drools like a pooch!!!!!) This book contains a collection of  14 silly songs/poems that you are suppose to sing to familiar tunes.  Like, I'm still here in the bathtub sung to the tune of take me out to the ball game.  One of our favorites is about a boy feeding brussel sprouts to his dog and he eventually gets caught when the dog gets sick.  I mean, what kid can't relate to that!  There is also a cute one about a little brother who keeps getting in trouble everytime his older brother isn't looking.  Alex loves that one, I wonder why????  :)    Cute, fun book for two silly little boys!!!!!!
