Cedar City Part One

We spent last weekend in Brian Head.

Nadya was competing in the Utah Summer Games, 

so we decided to make  a weekend of it.

First thing first- We checked out our lodge.  

Carter ensured that the beds were acceptable and immediately snuggled up.

I think the drive wore him out!

We settled in and  decided to head immediately to the pool.

The kids were ready for some physical activity after the car ride.

The kids loved the pool!

After we did some sight seeing.

It was freezing and there was snow.

(Yes, snow in June!)

But, it was breathtakingly beautiful!

We found a great little pizza place, ate dinner, and called it a night.

We had to get up at 5:45AM  the next morning to get ready for the Summer Games

because we stayed  about 45 minutes away and Nadya needed to be there around 7:30.

(When we decided to stay in Brian Head she was originally competing Friday night, but the time was changed less than a week before the competition! Argh!)
