Traditionally we attend Christmas Eve service at our Church, but this year I stayed home with Alex. He was sick, sick, sick. High fever, runny nose, cough, and wasn't keeping a thing down. Poor Guy. I felt so bad for him. He pretty much just laid around for two days straight! We decided to take him to my moms and let him rest in her room while we celebrated Christmas Eve. I figure he could lay around there just as easily as he could at home.
We ate and opened presents while Alex watched TV.
As usual my parents spoiled everyone including my dog.

After, we took Alex's gifts into him so he could open them.
There were a few joint gifts that they all opened as well.

I think the gifts cheered Alex up a bit.
Between my parents, Aunt Misty and Uncle Aaron my kids were officially spoiled.
Carter was so pleased to get five dollars for his club penguin membership.
He is seriously addicted to that game.

We got home way too late and opened our Christmas Eve Gifts. Traditionally, the kids always get a special ornament for the tree and new Jammies. This year they got an ornament with the first letter of their name. It just happened to spell out "can" this year because it was Hallie year at her moms.
I didn't take a picture of the kids in their jammies, because Carter did not like his jammies to put it nicely. He pretty much threw them and told us he DOESN'T like DINOSAURS! (Gosh, I didn't know! Doug thinks they were maybe just a little too babyish, but who knows.) I told Carter to get his jammies on (any jammies, I really didn't care) and get to bed before Santa turns his sleigh around. Carter complied, but put on an old pair of jammies. I guess I'll be returning the baby jammies this week. Geez! Alex and Nadya both loved their jammies! I think I have learned my lesson. Get the boys the SAME thing! I really don't know what I was thinking! The kids went to sleep waiting anxiously for Santa to arrive.
