Gma and Gpa Visit

We were all so excited to have visitors!  We spent a few days with them and then they snatched Doug and headed to Northern California for a brief visit.  (Brief meaning two days there and two days driving!)

While in California they visited Jessica, Josh and the kids and packed in as much as they could in two short days.

It looked like they had a great time! 

 After returning from California Grandma baked desserts with each of the girls and we also made cookies.

I didn't take pictures of the lemon meringue or blond brownies, but believe me when I tell you they were delicious!

I did take pictures of the rainbow play dough cookies.  They were so much fun to make!

We also drove up to Midway to see the ice castle.  Apparently, we waited too long and it was closed for the season. You could still see it, you just couldn't walk through it any longer.  It was amazingly cool!

We hung out at home..............

And took Carter Trick or Treating  to the home show.......  The other kids didn't want to come....

 (FOOLS! Well, they had no idea how much FREE candy would be involved)

Luckily for them, Grandma picked up candy and spoiled them with it!

Their two week visit went by way too quickly!  Boo.........
