My last born turned seven.
Seven.
Such a fun age. Such a fun boy!
So what do seven year old boys want for their birthday?
No surprise here- Lego's and Video Games!
Carter work up early on his birthday and in true
Johnson tradition, he opened one present in his Jammie's before school.
Carter was Star of the Week at school so he took his required poster to school.
I loved how easy it was to make using the computer. No cutting and pasting needed.
I just uploaded my pictures to Costco and printed it poster size.
Carter enjoyed sorting through old pictures and deciding on which ones we would include.
It was a fun trip down memory lane.
Later that night Aunt Misty, Uncle Aaron, Grandma and Grandpa joined us for Carter's celebration.
Carter opened up his gifts and was a happy camper.
More Lego's and more video games.
(He is really into his Pokemon video games at the moment!)
For dinner Carter requested Lasagna.
He insisted on a chocolate cake from Costco.
Easy enough for me!
He wanted the basketball piece all to himself.
He worked on one of his new Lego sets before bed.
The following Friday, we partied with his friends!
Carter invited a few friends over for a sleep over.
They played downstairs and ate pizza.
After pizza they swam in the hot tub and jumped on the trampoline.
And they swam and jumped, and swam and jumped some more.
They enjoyed getting wet and then sliding on the tramp.
And they played Ninjago under the kitchen table.
My guess is that the wood floor offered the best surface to play on.
Later on they played twister and then headed to bed.
Carter's good friend, Stefan, requested a story so Carter read one to him.
It was super sweet.
Stefan can read just fine, but it sure was cute to watch them read together.
They all had a great time! It was such an easy, (but incredibly fun) party!
