Conversations to Remember!

Alex had a play date yesterday.
Who knew three five year old boys could be so giggly.
I'd swear it was three girls.
They had so much fun.
After taking them home Alex and I had a cute conversation.

Alex- Mom, can I stay up late tonight?
Me- No. It's a school night and bedtime is at 8:30.
Alex- Is that the law?
Me (laughing)- Well, it's the law in our house.
Alex- Who made the law, did you?
Me- Well, yeah, I guess I did.
Alex- No, only Presidents can make laws and you are the not President!
Me (again, laughing)- I AM the president of our house.
Alex- No, only boys can be presidents and you're a girl!
Me (laughing hysterically at this point)- No, girls can be president!
Alex- No, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, John Adams (and Carter shouts, "OBAMA!")
they all are boys and they were presidents! Girls can't be president.
Me- Well, it's still 8:30 bedtime.

Dang..... If only Hillary won!
