Sock Puppets

The kids got creative and decided to make their own sock puppets.
It was completely unprompted and they were very independent.
I LOVE that Nadya knows the basics
of sewing, an amazing skill she learned at the orphanage.
I didn't have to string needles or tie knots.
I just got to sit back and watch.
Nadya is an amazing "Big" sister
and is very willing to help out.
She is definitely the "mother hen" of the bunch. Later they performed their puppet show for us. I took video, but it was basically all about a girl who wants layers in her hair and her parents say no.
Hint, Hint, Hint.
Clever, but......... Sorry girls, it's not happening.
I am not ready for Pre-teens yet, so I am refusing in hopes that they will regress!

I must say, Carter was the messiest! But he LOVED every minute!
