June has been so busy!!!!!!
It's crazy how busy I feel when we are not in school.
We've been busy doing all the fun things around town.
Parks, water parks, rodeos, walks, fountains........
Doug and I bid (school auction) on a family pass to Thanksgiving point and won.
The kids love the Children's Garden!!!
When we are not out exploring, I try and find something for them to do at home.
The kids stayed entertained for hours making Popsicle bridges!

Doug and I celebrated our Eight year Anniversary.....
Look how little Hallie was!!!!!!
Doug wanted to take me to dinner, but It was one of those days where I was running errands like crazy
and already felt like I'd left the kids home enough, so we comprised and took them!
(I love that we are at the stage where I want to take the kids to dinner! They are pretty good now at restaurants, mostly) After we walked down the Jordan Trailways and the kids skipped rocks in the river.
We've been to Gateway.... and Doug took the boys to a Real Soccer Game with Alex's Soccer team.
I walked in on Alex one night to find him reading with winter gloves on.
Apparently he was cold.
Love that boy!
The boys got their Summer hair cuts and Kris took them to the Renaissance fair....
They had a blast!!!!!!!!
We went to the Riverton Rodeo.
Its become a tradition.
Doug can't believe it was a 42 dollar tradition.
All the kids chased the calves for money, but Alex was the only lucky one.
He just happened to be at the right place at the right time.
He came back with One whole dollar and two half dollars.
He took his Two dollars (Doug taped the two half dollars together) and bought green hair paint.
He was quite proud of himself and told me that he "bargained" with the guy.
It was 2.50 and Alex offered 2.00.
It was so cute and Alex was so proud.
Doug was proud too! LOL
(Inside joke- I have a very cheap husband!)
As always, the kids enjoyed the rodeo.
Carter is a complete crack up!
I often find the boys in the Garden with Doug.
We will be signing this boy up for Gymnastics after our vacation!
Nadya has been working with him and he went straight down to his middle splits with little effort!
She has also taught him a back handspring on the tramp!
Carter is excited to learn more!!
Alex lost his second top tooth and looks adorable!
I love it!!! He is learning to speak all over again!
The boys have pretty much slept together almost every night since school let out.
They've been campaigning to share a room.
And I must say it's tempting to have an office back!

My dear friend, Angie, returned from the Philippines, and we (Jen, Angie and I) had a girls sleep over
with Sushi and wine to celebrate!!
We took a picture of our dinner with our phones to tease our hubbies!
Unfortunately it's the only picture we took!!!
Long post.... But that pretty much sums up my misc IPhone pics!!!!
Love your June update! (Love the collage too) haha. I think it would be fun for you and Angie and I to get together some time! I haven't seen her in ages and I always love "hanging out" with you!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more posts! I'm still working on mine, haha.
